Business Chamber Confidence Index Falls
The quarterly business confidence index of the Economic Research Institute (GVI) of the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MKIK) fell to +22 points in July from +36 points in April, according to a report by state news wire MTI.
The gauge of confidence among manufacturers was the highest, at +25 points. The measure was +23 points in the service sector and +17 points in the commerce sector.
The gauge of uncertainty climbed eight points to 41.
The index is based on a survey of 350 executives.
