Bulgaria's business climate indicator worsened on a monthly comparison basis in September, the National Statistical Institute (NSI) said on Wednesday. Decreases are observed in the construction, retail trade, and industry indicators, the Sofia-based agency said, according to a report by SeeNews.

The composite indicator in the construction sector declined the most by 7.3 percentage points month-on-month, as a result of the more pessimistic construction entrepreneurs' assessments and expectations about the business situation of their enterprises.

The business sentiment indicator in the retail trade sector decreased by 2.6 pp in September. The industry sector indicator went down 0.9 percentage points.
