AWE patents energy storage solution
Hungarian engineering company AWE has patented an energy storage solution for markets in Europe, Eurasia and the United States, business development director Bálint Dunai told Hungarian news agency MTI.
AWE will soon obtain a patent for the system, dubbed ItelliStore, for China, as well, Dunai said.
AWE is in talks with companies in Western Europe and the United States on buying the first units of the product, which AWE will make in Hungary.
Majority Hungarian-owned AWEʼs experts have spent the last five years making energy storage systems based on lithium-ion batteries.
