Andrássy Castle hedge maze listed as worldʼs tenth best

The hedge maze at Andrássy Castle, located in Tiszadob Hungary, was ranked tenth by website DesignCurial, which compiled a list of the world’s ten best mazes, after searching the globe for the top contenders.
According to web editor Katherine Houston, "the goal was to identify some of the most beautiful and iconic mazes in the world, while uncovering some of the more exotic and unexplored labyrinths," the Telegraph’s portal reported.
“In the running as one of Europeʼs most beautiful labyrinths, the hedge maze at Andrássy Castle is in the form of a large squid,” DesignCurial said. The hedge maze is located on the grounds, woven beautifully into its unique squid shape, the portal added.
Hungarian aristocratic family Andrássy are renowned for their rich heritage and the castle is located on the border of two counties along the Tisza River, DesignCurial noted.
