For the 28th time, the Hungarian Interchurch Aid held its Advent fundraiser last year, in which more than 600,000 people joined, according to online business daily Világgazdaság.
The president and director of the aid organization said that 2023 saw a collaboration with a double purpose.
The aim was not only to make the holiday of thousands of needy people more beautiful at a very difficult time but also to continue supporting those in need and those in trouble this year.
A quarter of a million calls and 330,000 store fundraisers show how the power of a little goes a long way. The list of corporate supporters was expanded with two partners: MBH Bank and Mastercard joined the list of donors with a very significant amount.
