Seszták discusses energy security in Lisbon
Miklós Seszták, the development minister of Hungary, held talks in Lisbon yesterday on energy policy issues and investments, Hungarian news agency MTI reported.
Seszták said that the chief executive had expressed willingness to make investments in Hungary, according to Hungarian news agency MTI. The Portuguese minister for environment, regional development and energy ensured support for the South Stream gas pipeline project, Seszták added.
The minister also held discussions with the chief executive of Portugal Telecom on Hungaro Digitel, of which Antenna Hungária holds a majority stake of 55% while Portugal Telecom possesses 45%. As the majority has recently been purchased by the Hungarian multimedia giant, the parties discussed the new ownership structure and future plans, according to MTI.
