Personal Computer (PC) sales rose by 24% exceeding 152,000 in Q3 as compared to the same period a year earlier, Hungarian business daily Világgazdaság reported today citing market researcher IDC.

IDC analyst Bence Bagi said expansion was seen both in the corporate and the retail segments. For 2014, Bagi predicted over 10% growth in sales as compared to last year. The research revealed a 5% increase in tablet sales to 94,000 in Q3 year-on-year, and analysts predicted a slight decline for the rest of the year.
