Saint-Gobain creates architecture award for Hungarian university students
Saint-Gobainʼs Hungarian group of companies founded a new award for architecture university students on the occasion of its 350th anniversary, the company announced in a press release today.
The HUF 1.6 mln total prize offered by the corporation will be distributed among Hungarian architecture university students who win the tender. According to Saint-Gobain, applicants have to consider the basic priorities of the company such as sustainable development, environmental protection and the importance of energy efficiency.
“The primary goal of the tender is to provide an opportunity for students to draw attention to themselves through their work and gain connections in the architecture business,” said Balázs Bokor, regional communications manager of Saint-Gobain.
Tenders will be evaluated by architecture experts such as Sándor Finta, Head of the City Planning Department at the Budapest Mayorʼs Office, and Erika Katalina Pásztor, Editor in Chief of Architectforum.hu.
