Rosatom to host two-day nuclear forum in Budapest
Russian nuclear energy company Rosatom is scheduled to host the Atomex-Europe nuclear industry suppliersʼ forum in Budapest between November 30 and December 1, the company told Hungarian news agency MTI yesterday.
The forum includes a conference and presentations by nuclear industry companies, MTI said. Suppliers and representatives of major Russian firms in the nuclear industry will also hold individual business meetings, MTI added.
Rosatom has been awarded the upgrade of Hungary’s sole nuclear power plant in Paks by the Hungarian government. The European Commission launched an infringement procedure and is set to investigate the deal. The Hungarian government has defended the agreement on many occasions, and yesterday it welcomed the investigation.
