Report: Rental fees up 20% in 2015

Tourism

The rental fees of apartments in Hungary saw a year-on-year rise of 20% in the first half of this year compared to the earlier 1-2% y.o.y. rises, Attila Déry, chief analyst of Otthon Centrum told state-owned all news channel M1 today, according to online daily origo.hu.

According to the analyst, the current rise is chiefly due to the increasing number of people buying apartments for investment purposes and also the greater demand for apartments in correlation with higher number job related moves.

People are willing to relocate if their jobs require, with western Hungarian cities and Budapest being among the most popular destinations, the chief analyst said.
