Report: Multinationals offer better jobs

In spite of official government rhetoric, big multinational corporations offer better jobs in Hungary and Hungarians prefer working for these corporations, according to research published by vg.hu today. 

This sector, which is one of the pillars of the Hungarian economy and is responsible for 25% of all the jobs in the private sector, is characterized by a net outflow of operating capital. In other words, 5% of corporations employ 25% of the workforce, as opposed to 1994 figures, which showed that 12% of the workforce was employed by 15% of all Hungarian companies, a study by CEU revealed.
