Pannon Fuel to construct 39 new CNG stations in Hungary

Pannon Fuel is anticipated to begin the construction of 39 compressed natural gas (CNG) stations in Hungary in fall, the Hungarian Association for Gas-Fueled Transport (MGKKE) said, Hungarian news agency MTI reported today.
The two-year project will be funded with EUR 1 million by Pannon Fuel and EUR 10 mln from the Connecting Europe Facility, MGKKE noted to MTI.
The number of CNG stations could reach 60 by the end of 2018, as several are currently under construction, said MGKKE head Henrik Domanovszky, MTI reported.
There are eight CNG stations in Hungary at this time, according to MTI.
