One-off factors to save Hungarian economy growth

History

Hungary's Fiscal Responsibility Institute (KFI) says that Hungary's projected 2014 GDP growth of 2.7% would fall to 0.5% without the benefit of specific one-off factors, KFI Director Balázs Romhányi announced on Wednesday.

Romhányi identified these one-off factors as government spending, the rapid utilization of European Union funding in both 2014 and 2015, increasing production at Audi and Daimler plants in Hungary and the government's Funding for Growth Scheme to help SMEs obtain credit under favorable conditions.

The director said that without the above one-off factors, Hungary's GDP growth would be around 1% in 2015. KFI has prepared its analysis of GDP growth in Hungary in cooperation with former Hungary’s PM Gordon Bajnai's Patriotism and Progress Association.
