Number of registered job seekers rises in December
There were 570,000 registered job seekers in Hungary in December 2012, 3.1% more than in December 2011 and up 6.2% from November of last year, fresh data from the National Labour Affairs Office (NMH) shows. The NMH said that the December rise in registered job-seekers is compatible with seasonal changes in employment recorded over recent years. The NMH noted that the number of new job-offers registered at the office declined 10.8% yr/yr in December 2012, though rose 28.1% mo/mo during the month.
