MNKH drums up business in China for Hungarian firms

The Hungarian National Trading House (MNKH), established by the state to find new opportunities for Hungarian companies on foreign markets, has helped broker deals for export orders to China by four food companies, MNKH said, according to state news agency MTI.
MNKH negotiated the orders for more than 65 tons of sweets from Bonbonetti and RollʼM Food as well as biscuits from Detki Keksz, and for two containers of wine from the Csányi Cellars, MTI reported
Demand is growing in China for Hungarian beef, as well, MNKH said. Hungary is the first European country to be cleared for beef exports to China, it added.
MNKH has two offices in China with a focus on providing inroads on the Chinese market for Hungarian companies in the food, farming, water management, software development, engineering and tourism sectors, MTI said.
