Mavir buys €1.8 mln transformer from ABB
Hungarian transmission system operator Mavir yesterday said it had bought a €1.8 mln transformer from Switzerlandʼs ABB, and expects the unit to secure the supply of electricity to areas south of Budapest.
Hungarian news agency MTI said that the transformer would be installed at Mavirʼs base in Martonvásár, near the capital, and begin operation at the end of May.
