Lázár: Home building permits on steep rise

The number of notifications to authorities for home building permits has reached 13,000 in Hungary already in the first half, which is a steep rise as compared to the previous year, Cabinet Chief János Lázár said yesterday, according to reports.

During his regular weekly press conference, Lázár noted that the number of home building permits reached 7,000 during in all of last year, Hungarian news agency MTI reported.

The cabinet chief said the Hungarian government is planning to spend HUF 211 billion next year on its revamped home purchase subsidy scheme for families, MTI added.
