KSH notes industrial production growth of 9.5% in November

Hungary’s industrial output grew by 9.5% in year-on-year terms, with the index adjusted for working days increasing by 7% in November last year, the Hungarian Central Statistical Office confirmed this morning in a second estimate.
In year-on-year terms the volume of industrial export sales increased by 10.4%, while industrial domestic sales rose by 3.6%, KSH said.
Of the sections of industry, production of manufacturing grew by 10.3%, and the output of the energy industry rose by 7.2% in year-on-year terms, while mining and quarrying fell significantly, by 30%, KSH said.
In month-on-month terms, the volume of industrial production was down by 1.4%, according to seasonally and working-day adjusted indices.
In the period of January-November 2015, industrial output grew by 7.3% in year-on-year terms.
