Hungary used 100% of resources available during the 2007-2013 European Union funding period, deputy state secretary Nándor Csepreghy told Hungarian news agency MTI today.

Hungary paid out HUF 6,865 bln of funding available for the period, Csepreghy said. In 2014, payouts came to HUF 1,845 bln, a record, he added.

A spokesperson for the European Commission said late last year that most of Hungary's operative programmes for grant money available for the 2014-2020 funding period had been cleared at the expert level.
