Hungary lowers terror alert from level three to two

A week after the bombings in Brussels, the Hungarian government has decided to lower the terror alert to level two after raising it to level three last week, Hungarian online daily origo.hu reported today, citing an announcement from the Ministry of Interior.

Hungaryʼs Minister of Interior announced today that the level is being lowered as of today, origo.hu added.

The second highest level, level two, of a military terror alert was issued in Hungary a week ago Tuesday by Prime Minister Viktor Orbán. The measure was taken following explosions in Brusselsʼ main airport and on the cityʼs metro line.
