Surplus on external trade in goods at EUR 135 million in May

Hungary's surplus on external trade in goods amounted to EUR 135 million in May, according to data published by the Central Statistical Office (KSH).

The value of exports amounted to EUR 12.116 billion and that of imports to EUR 11.981 billion in May 2022.

The share of EU Member States was 76% in exports and 71% in imports.

Compared to May 2021, the value of exports increased by 28% and that of imports by 27% in EUR terms.

Compared to April 2022, the level of goods exports increased by 9.2% and that of goods imports by 3.1%.
