Surplus on external trade in goods at EUR 1.3 mln in Sep

The surplus on external trade in goods stood at EUR 1.3 million in September 2021, down EUR 1.2 billion compared to the same month of 2020, according to data released by the Central Statistical Office (KSH).

The value of exports was 0.6% lower, while that of imports was 12% larger in EUR terms compared to September 2020. The value of exports amounted to EUR 10.304 bln and that of imports to EUR 10.303 bln.

The share of EU Member States was 75% in exports and 69% in imports.

Compared to August, the value of exports increased by 24% and that of imports by 14%.
