Slovenia trade surplus falls in H1

Slovenia recorded a trade surplus of EUR 210.6 million in the first half of 2021, lower than a surplus of EUR 829 million reported for the same period of 2020, the statistical office said on Monday.

Exports rose 18.9% to EUR 19.2 billion, while imports increased 24.9% to EUR 19.0 billion, it said. In June alone, exports rose 21% on the year to EUR 3.3 billion, while imports went up 30.6% to EUR 3.4 billion.
