Net FDI into Bulgaria falls

The net inflow of foreign direct investment (FDI) into Bulgaria declined by 63.7% year-on-year to EUR 630.4 million in the seven months through July, the central bank said on Friday.
The largest net FDI inflow into Bulgaria in the review period, of EUR 457.9 million, originated in Luxembourg, followed by the Netherlands with EUR 253.8 million and Germany with EUR 120.4 million.
In July alone, Bulgaria recorded a net FDI inflow of EUR 170.5 million, down from EUR 978.6 million inflow in the same month of last year.
