Moldova's Jan-July trade gap widens
Moldova's trade deficit widened by 47.5% on the year to USD 2.255 billion (EUR 1.909 billion) in the first seven months of 2021, the country's statistics office said on Wednesday.
Moldova's exports rose 15.5%, while imports surged by 32.5% during January-July the statistics office said in a statement.
In June alone, exports rose 26% on the year to USD 241 million, while imports rose 13.1% to USD 561.9 million.
