Hungary's live pig exports fell last year

Hungary's exports of live pigs fell between January and November last year, the Institute of Agricultural Economics (AKI) wrote in its meat market report, according to business daily Világgazdaság.

According to the data from the Central Statistical Office (KSH), exports amounted to 32,000 tonnes, which is a decrease of 11% compared to the volume sold on the foreign market a year earlier.

The largest customers were Romania, Austria and the Netherlands.
