Deficit on external trade in goods at EUR 475 million in April

Hungary's deficit on external trade in goods stood at EUR 475 million in April 2022, according to data published by the Central Statistical Office (KSH).

The value of exports amounted to EUR 11.052 billion and that of imports to EUR 11.527 bln.

The value of exports was 12% and that of imports 21% larger in EUR terms in April 2022 than in the same period of the previous year.

The share of EU Member States was 77% in exports and 70% in imports.

The balance of external trade in goods deteriorated by EUR 812 million.

Compared to March 2022, the level of goods exports decreased by 8.9% and that of goods imports by 10%.
