Pallas Athéné Foundation assets close to HUF 281 bln

Assets of the National Bank of Hungary's Pallas Athéné Foundation reached HUF 280.8 billion at the end of the first quarter, the foundation's asset manager, Optima, told state news wire MTI.
The assets included HUF 243.8 bln in investment fund units, HUF 2.7 bln in real estate, HUF 21.8 bln in bank deposits, and HUF 12.5 bln in corporate bonds.
The foundation and its legal predecessors have awarded HUF 11.9 bln in academic and scientific grants to 1,633 applicants since 2014.
