MNB Int'l Reserves Rise EUR 1.184 bln in December

International reserves of the National Bank of Hungary (MNB) stood at EUR 38.706 bln at the end of December, up EUR 1.184 bln from a month earlier, data released by the central bank on Friday show, state news wire MTI reports.

The stock of cash, deposits, and securities in the reserves rose EUR 1.212 bln to EUR 30.825 bln during the month.

The value of monetary gold in the reserves was little changed at EUR 5.176 bln. The value of IMF special drawing rights (SDRs) stood at EUR 2.329 bln.

The central bank's international reserves were EUR 329 million higher than at the end of 2021.
