Int'l Reserves at EUR 39.88 bln in April

The international reserves of the National Bank of Hungary (MNB) stood at EUR 39.88 billion at the end of April, up EUR 118 million from a month earlier, according to data published by the central bank on its website this week

The stock of cash, deposits, and securities in the reserves fell by EUR 1.824 bln to EUR 28.927 bln.

However, the stock of "other reserve instruments" rose by EUR 1.978 bln to EUR 2.807 bln.

The value of monetary gold stood at EUR 5.482 bln, and the value of IMF special drawing rights (SDRs) was EUR 2.294 bln.

The international reserves were EUR 1.171 bln over their level at the end of 2022.
