EC sees deficit remaining under 3% threshold
The European Commission projected Hungary's central budget deficit will remain under the threshold of 3% of the GDP in the coming years in its autumn forecast published today.
The EC put Hungary's GDP growth at 3.2% this year, 2.5% next year and 2.0% in 2016. It sees the country's state debt as a percentage of GDP falling to 76.9% this year, 76.4% next year and 75.2% in 2016.
