Yields fall at three-month govt bond auction

Yields fell on strong demand at an auction of three-month discount T-bills by the Government Debt Management Agency (ÁKK) on Tuesday.
The ÁKK sold HUF 40 billion of the bills, sticking to its original offer even though primary dealers submitted bids for HUF 192.9 billion.
Average yield – the only yield – at the auction was 5.7%, 20bp under the secondary market benchmark and 28bp lower than the yield at the previous auction of the bills one week earlier.
