Slovakia c/a gap narrows in Dec

Slovakia's current account deficit narrowed to EUR 186.3 million in December 2020, from EUR 251.3 million in the previous year, Bank of Slovakia said in a report.
The goods balance switched to a EUR 23 million surplus from a EUR 159.3 million deficit in the previous year, while the primary income gap narrowed to EUR 146.6 million from EUR 220.7 million.
On the other hand, the services surplus shrank to EUR 15.2 million from EUR 48.4 million, and the secondary income balance slipped to a EUR 77.9 million deficit from a EUR 80.3 million surplus. Considering full 2020, the current deficit narrowed to EUR 306.6 million, from EUR 2547.2 million in the previous year.
