Serbia public debt at 55% of GDP at end-April

Serbia's public debt stood at EUR 27.77 billion at the end of April 2021, accounting for 55% of GDP, figures released by the Ministry of Finance on Friday showed, according to a report by news agency Tanjug.

In nominal terms, the April public debt was down EUR 370 million relative to March and its share in the national gross domestic product fell 0.2% month-on-month.

At the end of 2020, the country's public debt was at EUR 26.66 billion and accounted for 57.4% of GDP.
