Czech Republic's foreign debt up in Q1

The Czech Republic's foreign debt increased by CZK 6.7 billion in the first quarter reaching CZK 4.3 trillion (EUR 168 billion) at the end of March, which accounts for 76% of the GDP, the Czech National Bank said on Monday.

Year-on-year, the foreign debt was CZK 167.7 billion lower.

The government sector's share in the external debt was 18.4% at the end of March
