Bulgaria c/a surplus widens in August

Bulgaria's current account surplus widened to EUR 328.3 million in August from EUR 66.8 million in the same month of the previous year, the country's central bank said in a report.

The services surplus widened considerably to EUR 538 million from EUR 361.4 million, while the primary income gap narrowed to EUR 46.9 million from EUR 222.8 million.

At the same time, the goods account deficit widened to EUR 260.7 million from EUR 160.7 million, and secondary income surplus narrowed to EUR 53 million from EUR 88.9 million.
