ÁKK sells HUF 53 bln of securities at auction

The Government Debt Management Agency (ÁKK) sold HUF 53 bln of securities at auction on Thursday, HUF 8 bln more than planned, according to a report by state news wire MTI.

The agency sold HUF 3.5 bln of discount 12-month T-bills, reducing its original offer from HUF 20 bln after primary dealers bid for just HUF 8.8 bln of the securities. The average yield was 6.55%, 3 bp over the secondary market benchmark, and 16 bp higher than the yield at the previous auction of the bills two weeks earlier

ÁKK sold HUF 30 bln of seven-year floating-rate bonds, double the original offer. Bids reached HUF 66.8 bln.

The agency sold HUF 19.5 bln of a 10-year green bond, raising the offer by HUF 9.5 bln. Bids came to HUF 40.9 bln. The average yield was 7.46%, 110 bp over the yield at the previous auction of the bonds one month earlier.
