ÁKK sells HUF 41 bln of securities at auction, over plan

The Government Debt Management Agency (ÁKK) sold a combined HUF 41 billion of securities at auction on Thursday, HUF 6 bln over the plan, according to a report by state news wire MTI.

ÁKK sold HUF 26 bln of discount twelve-month T-bills, raising its original offer by HUF 6 bln after dealers bid for HUF 36.6 bln of the securities. The average yield was 1.75%, 21 bp over the secondary market benchmark and the yield at the previous auction of the bills two weeks earlier.

The agency also sold HUF 15 bln of eight-year floating rate bonds, in line with the original offer. Dealers' bids for the bonds reached HUF 44.4 bln.

ÁKK sold an additional HUF 5.5 bln of the floaters at a non-competitive tender after the auction.
