ÁKK sells HUF 40.5 bln of securities at auction, fraction over plan

The Government Debt Management Agency (ÁKK) sold HUF 40.5 billion of securities at auction on Thursday, HUF 0.5 bln more than planned, state news wire MTI reports.

ÁKK sold HUF 18.5 bln of discount twelve-month T-bills, cutting its original offer by HUF 1.5 bln. Primary dealers bid for HUF 49.1 bln of the bills. The average yield was 0.92%, 10 bp over the secondary market benchmark and 5 bp higher than the yield at the previous auction of the bills two weeks earlier.

The agency sold HUF 22 bln of six-year floating-rate bonds, raising its original offer by HUF 2 bln after bids reached HUF 43.4 bln.

ÁKK sold a further HUF 7.7 bln of the six-year floaters at a non-competitive tender after the auction.
