ÁKK sells HUF 22.5 bln of securities at auction, under plan
The Government Debt Management Agency (ÁKK) sold a combined HUF 22.5 billion of securities at auction on Thursday, under the plan, according to a report by news agency MTI.
ÁKK sold just HUF 2 bln of discount twelve-month T-bills, well under the HUF 15 bln original offer. Primary dealers bid for HUF 3.2 bln of the bills. The average yield was 9.58%, 13 bp over the secondary market benchmark and 178 bp higher than the yield at the previous auction of the bills two weeks earlier.
The agency sold HUF 20.5 bln of seven-year floating rate bonds, raising its original offer from HUF 10 bln after bids reached HUF 64.7 bln.
ÁKK sold a further HUF 7.1 bln of the floaters at a non-competitive tender after the auction.
