ÁKK buys HUF 19.07 bln of bonds at reverse auction

The Government Debt Management Agency (ÁKK) bought HUF 19.07 bln of bonds before maturity at a reverse auction today, according to Hungarian news agency MTI.

ÁKK bought back HUF 17.90 bln of 2017/A bonds, which mature on November 24, 2017. Bids reached HUF 22.90 bln. 

ÁKK also bought back HUF 1.17 bln of 2017/B bonds, maturing on February 24, 2017, accepting all the bids.

Average repurchase yield was 0.89% for the 2017/A bonds, 4 basis points under Tuesdayʼs twelve-month secondary market benchmark and 0.85% for the 2017/B bonds, 8 basis points under the benchmark.
