Sole proprietorships operating in Hungary and individuals that are required to make VAT payments must complete form No. 1533 and submit it electronically to the tax authority by Thursday as well as make the associated payment, according to a report published by online daily hvg.hu today.
The reminder was originally published by the National Tax and Customs Authority (NAV) in relation to earning for 2015 and is also relevant to sole proprietors and individuals that are part of the EVA and KATA tax programs – systems set up by NAV to help small business and individuals in handling their taxation requirements.
Those companies that ceased to operate prior to December 31, 2015, are not required to submit the electronic forms or relevant payments until May 20.
