Romania's c. bank FX reserves down in March

Foreign exchange reserves at the National Bank of Romania fell to EUR 40.143 billion in March, from EUR 41.877 billion the central bank said on Friday.

The gold reserves of the central bank remained unchanged at 103.6 tonnes.

However, following the change in the international price of gold, its value amounted to EUR 5.772 billion.

At the end of March, the international reserves of Romania, including foreign currencies and gold, totaled EUR 45.915 billion compared to EUR 47.548 billion a month earlier.
