Romania's annual bank deposits growth slows in Apr

The deposits of the non-governmental sector in Romanian banks grew 10.9% on the year to RON 480.6 billion (EUR 97.2 billion) in April, compared to an annual increase of 11.1% in March, the central bank said on Tuesday.
Meantime, the value of Romanian banks' outstanding loans to the non-government sector grew 15.8% year-on-year in April to RON 339.9 billion (EUR 68.7 billion), the bank added.
In March, outstanding loans to the non-government sector increased by 15.7%.
Private lending increased 19.6% annually to RON 246.8 billion in April.
