Romanian C. Bank FX Reserves Rise in July

The foreign exchange (FX) reserves held by Romania's central bank, excluding gold, rose to EUR 42.768 billion at the end of July, up from EUR 42.033 billion a month earlier, the central bank said on Monday.
The gold reserves of the central bank remained unchanged at 103.6 tonnes. However, following the change in the international price of gold, its value amounted to EUR 5.751 billion at the end of July.
The international reserves of Romania, including foreign currencies and gold, totaled EUR 48.519 billion as of end-July, compared to EUR 47.823 billion in the prior month.
