Romanian c. bank FX reserves fall in Feb

The foreign exchange (FX) reserves held by Romania's central bank, excluding gold, fell to EUR 41.877 billion at the end of February, from EUR 43.106 bln a month earlier, the central bank said on Tuesday.

The gold reserves of the central bank remained unchanged at 103.6 tonnes.

However, following the change in the international price of gold, its value amounted to 5.671 bln at the end of February.

The international reserves of Romania, including foreign currencies and gold, totaled EUR 47.548 bln at the end-February compared to EUR 48.451 bln a month earlier.
