Romanian c.bank FX reserves drop in February

The foreign exchange (FX) reserves held by Romania's central bank, excluding gold, totaled EUR 35.139 billion at the end of February, compared to EUR 37.454 bln a month earlier, the country's central bank said on Monday.

FX inflows amounted to EUR 2.557 bln, while FX outflows totaled EUR 4.872 bln, it said.

The gold reserves of the central bank remained unchanged at 103.6 tonnes.

However, following the change in the international price of gold, its value amounted to EUR 4.853 billion at the end of February.
