Raiffeisen H1 profit in Hungary rises to EUR 36 mln

Austria's Raiffeisen International (RBI) booked after-tax profit of EUR 36 million at its banking business in Hungary, up 64% from the base period as operating income climbed and impairment fell, an earnings report released on Friday shows.

Net interest income rose 8% to EUR 81 mln. Net revenue from commissions and fees increased 10% to EUR 75 mln.

RBI booked EUR 5 mln in impairment losses in H1, compared to EUR 8 mln in the base period.
