Parliament approves bill making tax changes swifter

Parliament approved late Monday a bill that reduces the minimum period between the time tax changes are announced and the time they come into force from 45 to 30 days.
The bill was approved with a vote of 246 ayes, 101 nays and one abstention.
The bill aims to allow lawmakers to react more quickly and more efficiently to economic and fiscal changes.
