OTP signs deal to acquire Slovenia's 2nd biggest bank
OTP Bank on Monday said it signed an agreement to acquire Nova KBM, Slovenia's second-biggest lender with 20.5% market share by total assets, according to a report by state news wire MTI.
Nova KBM is owned by Apollo Global Management (80%) and the EBRD (20%).
OTP expects the transaction to close in Q2 2022, pending regulatory approval.
